Are You Our Jolly Sailor Bold?

This is another piece for 's villain collaboration project. I suggested the mermaids from "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" for the project and the were acceptable. I wanted to use colors to show their mysterious and dark nature, but still be as beautiful and sexy as they are portrayed in the movie and in myths and stories. The title of this piece came from the quote the top mermaid said "Are you my jolly sailor bold," but I changed it from "my" to "our" because I drew seven mermaids.

Done in markers, colored pencils, white gel pen, and cleaned up in photoshop.
